Cleaning Jetted Tub Jets

If you haven t used your jetted whirlpool tub in some time you could be in for a surprise when you turn them on and find dust old soap scum even bugs blas.

You know the tub is clean you cleaned it yourself just a few days ago but when you fill the tub and turn on the jets strange black bits are swirling in the water. Scrub the inside of the jets with a dampened old toothbrush to loosen dirt debris and soap scum buildup. I tend to use cold water for the sake of conserving energy but if your tub is especially dirty hot water will help loosen the grime. Empty the tub and refill it cold water is fine this time.
